The Nederlandsche Volksdienst, also known as the Dutch People's Service (NVD), was founded in July 1941, following the example of the National Socialist Volkswohlfahrt in Nazi Germany. The founders of the NVD wanted to bundle all social work in the Netherlands into the NVD. The leader of the Dutch People's Service was Frederik Willem van Vloten.

De identiteitskaart is nog in goede staat en dateert van 1 februari 1942. Hij staat op naam van Dirk Doornbos. De Nederlandsche Volksdienst, ook wel Nederlandse Volksdienst (NVD) genoemd, werd in juli 1941 opgericht naar voorbeeld van de Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt in nazi-Duitsland. De oprichters van de NVD wilden al het sociale werk in Nederland bundelen in de NVD. De leider van de Nederlandse Volksdienst was Frederik Willem van Vloten.
