Set 'Oorlogszakboekje' 5th infantry regiment
The booklet is on name of 'J. J. Vos' he was born on June 8, 1910 in Rotterdam. He was assigned to the 5th Infantry Regiment and was a sergeant. This is also stated on his identification plate. The set also includes a manual for the Lewis rifle and general shooting instructions. His helmet plate is also included, which he removed at the time because it was thought that the bullet was getting cracked through the helmet plate. This later turned out to be a fable. The set comes straight from the family and has always been together!

Het boekje is op naam van 'J. J. Vos' hij is geboren op 8 juni 1910 te Rotterdam. Hij zat ingedeeld bij het 5de regiment infanterie en was een sergeant. Dit staat ook op zijn herkenningsplaatje. Bij het setje zit ook een handleiding voor het lewis geweer en een algemeen schietvoorschrift. Ook zit zijn helmplaat erbij, deze heeft hij destijds verwijderd omdat men dacht dat de kogel krip kreeg door de helmplaat. Dit bleek later een fabel te zijn. Het setje komt regstreeks van de familie en is altijd bij mekaar geweest!
